​I completed a doctoral program specializing in Urban Educational Leadership. I designed a mix methods research project integrating STEM using engineering design and scientific inquiry. I am doing extensive work with creating authentic science learning experiences with students. My expertise is in using motivation and learning strategies to support students learning. My specific interest lies in the intersection of science instruction and motivational constructs such as interests, emotions, self efficacy, and transformative experience.
